While many of our past newsletters have highlighted ZeeVee employees with years of pro AV experience under their belts, it's equally important to celebrate the dedication and enthusiasm of those who are just starting out in the industry.

ZeeVee Europe’s newest member is Jason Rance, account manager, UK and Ireland. Jason will work with the team to expand ZeeVee's presence in the regional market with a focus on key distribution partners including Midwich and Polar. He also oversees communications with integrators and resellers, identifies potential projects and serves as part of the company’s local customer satisfaction team.

Before joining ZeeVee, Jason enjoyed a 10-year career in professional cricket, with his most recent position being the head of player pathway for Buckinghamshire County Cricket Board. His work involved identifying and nurturing talented players to help them reach the professional level. However, due to the impact of the job’s demanding schedule on his young family, Jason decided to make a career change. After a chance conversation with our own Rob Muddiman, he was drawn to the inclusive environment and the assurance of a better work-life balance offered by the ZeeVee.

“Joining ZeeVee has been an incredible experience for me. From day one, I could feel the warmth and welcoming nature of the company and the support from my team members have been invaluable,” said Jason. “Working closely with seasoned professionals like Rob and Jan [Rosenstein] has eased my transition into this new role."

While Jason is modest about personal achievements, he takes pride in his ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to the growth of an organization. In his previous role, he significantly increased the number of professional cricketers produced by the program he led. He also participated in charity work in Nepal, focusing on gender equality and fostering connections. Jason's dedication to teamwork and the positive impact he has made on the organizations he has worked for are accomplishments he values the most.

Coming from a non-technical background, Jason initially found the concept of AV over IP complex. However, he quickly realized that ZeeVee's AV over IP technology stands out due to its simplicity.

"As someone who knew next to nothing about AV technology until a few months ago, I was pleasantly surprised when I found it very simple to set up and configure ZeeVee’s products on my laptop,” said Jason. “I was also impressed with the assistance from our customer support team. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was confident with the products I was using.”

Jason lives in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, England, with his fiancée, Holly (pictured above), and two daughters. He spends time with his family and friends who keep him happily occupied, and follows a wide range of sports, such as football, golf and, of course, cricket.
