New IP Product Showcase at NAB 2017
ZeeVee to showcase its third generation ZyPer4K uncompressed, zero latency, video distribution solution at NAB 2017
ZeeVee to also exhibit the HDbridge3000 Series – A solution to support the AV over IP transition
ZeeVee, Inc. a global manufacturer of video and signal distribution technology announced today that it will be showcasing its third generation ZyPer4K, a zero-latency, uncompressed switching and distribution solution at the NAB Show April 24-27th in Las Vegas, booth number SU14207.
ZyPer4K is simplifying video distribution by offering virtual plug and play configuration using the ZeeVee Management platform and nearly any off the shelf 10Gb Ethernet switch. The latest version of ZyPer4K is feature rich and now offers full HDMI 2.0 compatibility including support for 4K HDR10, optional video inputs for display port, 3G-SDI and analogue and flexible multi-view configurations allowing multiple sources to be displayed on a single screen.
“ZyPer4K is ideal for broadcasters looking to cost effectively distribute high quality images / video throughout their facility with zero latency,” Chris Scurto, vice president sales and marketing, ZeeVee. “Broadcasters are migrating their work flow into IP. ZyPer4K allows for the distribution of work flow content, uncompressed, and with zero latency, allowing staff to review production in real time and with pixel for pixel accuracy,” he added.
In addition to the ZyPer4K, visitors to NAB 2017 will see demonstrations of the HDBridge3000, a high density, small footprint system for broadcasters to distribute SD and HD video throughout their facilities. Broadcasters have invested millions of dollars to improve their outgoing signal to HD, while still providing in-house staff with an analog signal to review their work on internal channels. That all changes with the HDbridge3000 which supports multi-format IP and RF streaming in a single chassis delivering video over IP, and RF networks, individually or simultaneously. Deliver video over an existing co-axial infrastructure, a standard Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure, or a combination of the two from a single platform.
With the new H.264 IP media module, the HDbridge3000 is now capable of transmitting MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 IP streams, and QAM or DVB-T/C RF streams, simultaneously, giving customers the flexibility on how and when to transition to IP distribution in their facilities and campuses.
ZeeVee will also have its RF distribution systems on hand for demonstration including the HdBridg2000 and ZvPro series.
