[INFOCOMM] Day 1 Wrap Up

As many of you already know ZeeVee is at one of the largest gatherings of AV Integrators in the US: InfoComm. They have are at booth #C3980 in the central hall of the Las Vegas Convention center along with a large presence at the SDVoE Alliance booth (N720). It was a busy day for ZeeVee today. Here is a quick overview of what went on after the welcome ribbon was cut.

Scoring in Stadium AV Distribution

To start things off Joe Chordas (VP of Sales & Marketing) of and Art Weeks (Product Manager of IP Products) gave an overview of how AV over IP can be used in large sports stadiums like Gillette Stadium. The presentation included design considerations, SD to HD migration, technology considerations, a few case studies, and a few tips.

Case Study: Large Scale Installation

Steve Metzger (VP of Hardware & Operations) took the stage to talk about a recent large scale AV Distribution integration at the Hong Kong Office of a umbrella corporation. This integration included several ZyPer4K HDMI Encoder/Decoder units.

The Flexibility of AV over IP with a Surprise Performance

Finally, Garth Leach (Director of Marketing) took the main stage along with presenters from NETGEAR and SAVI Controls, to give a presentation on the flexibility of AV over IP. After an overview of ZeeVee’s AV over IP solutions and their benefits and demos from the guest speaks there was a very flexible performance by two contortionists from Cirque de Soloy!
