It is an organization employing 2,000 people in three facilities in two cities. The main hospital spans multiple floors, with surgery, emergency and treatment rooms spread throughout covering hundreds of thousands of square feet.

A brand-new location deserves a technology overhaul, so that’s just what leading technology services provider NJVC decided to do when it moved from a multi-tenant location in Vienna, Virginia, to a new, single-user location in Chantilly, Virginia, in December of 2012. With five floors and 150,000 square feet to work with, NJVC knew it had to “go big or go home,” and they made it happen with an elaborate, yet cost-effective, video broadcasting system utilizing ZeeVee encoder/modulators. In December 2011 the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota, underwent a technology transformation with the addition of Insignia High Definition LED flat panel displays from Best Buy For Business. The integration included removal and recycling of antiquated CRT displays, replacement with (18) flat panels ranging from 24-42” in size and a head end distribution system providing five simultaneous channels of HD content, all installed by Geek Squad.

Brann’s went all out when they decided to become the place to watch the game. Every single TV had to be HD, and every game had to look great on all of them.

Starting with an essentially blank slate, Jason Monette (JBM Automation) wired the first location with more than 60 HDTVs and other associated gear, including 6 projectors with screens of 80” or larger , 40 HDTVs with screens larger than 42”, 20 HDTVs for the booths (13” screens), 8 DirecTv HD receivers, 1 dbx Zone Pro for audio and 1 Keno machine. For Binga's Stadium Smoke House Restaurant & Sports Bar, he discovered he could connect 9 satellite boxes to 9 ZvBoxes, and instantly have his own 9‐channel private HD cable lineup flowing out to all 30+ HDTVs. As the system grew, he added two ZvBox 150s to broadcast the output of cameras on the upper and lower floors of the multi‐story facility.
